TS45 - top swing 45º outward opening windowsFeaturesTS45 are top swing 45º outward opening windows. The TS45 is a projecting top guided system allowing some degree of access to clean the outside face, from above the sash, whilst ensuring good
ventilation, easy to operate and maintain with it’s controlled friction, the TS45 meets all UK demands.
HardwareTS45 windows are fitted with PN-UNI friction stay hinge mechanism manufactured from high grade steel. It is electro-galvanized and finally treated with a chrome finish to create maximum protection against corrosion.
 
The mechanism is special developed for the UK market and meets UK demands for strength and function to BS 6375: part 2 1987 – BS7950: 1997, sec. A6
Locking system - EspagnoletteSupplied from FIX AB the Espagnolette system with minimum two point locking with added dual position keep, allowing controlled ventilation. The system is tested according to SS3535 confirming espagnolette and keeps are produced from a corrosion resistant
material with an extra protective chromated layer. The Espagnolette has been tested to a 50,000 open-close cyclic test forenhanced performance and minimum maintenance.
HandleAs standard a cranked HOPPE London non-lockable handle is supplied available in the following colours.

ConstructionDouble tenon corner joints in the timber profile with the option to add mullion and transom configurations, creating split glazing areas. The
integrated aluminium and timber composite perimeter frame is mechanically connected with mitred and crimped corners. The sash frame aluminium section being continuously retained around the timber sash in an extruded and mechanically fixed carrier frame.
Frame sizesThe windows are manufactured from European FSC certified timber. The softwood is carefully chosen and sawn before kiln dried to approximately 14% water content. Thereafter the timber is cut, finger jointed together to create a straight piece of timber with no knots. All frame depths can be delivered in 100mm, 115mm (standard), 130mm
or 145mm for constructional strength. 
SealingSealing is achieved by a continuous single gasket, or double gasket for enhanced performance. The gasket is compressed into a rebate by the sash frame ensuring maximum compression and weather tightness when subjected to severe weather conditions.
Restrictors“Add on” restrictors can be offered as optional extras. Please refer to PN3815-093-60 or 3816-0-93-60

Trickle ventThe adjustable standard Titon hi-lift trickle vent system is positioned at the underside head of the frame to make the maximum out of fresh incoming air. The ventilator is concealed from the outside by an external hood/drip detail incorporating an
integrated inset mesh. Delivered in White, Silver, Gold or Brown

Alternatively any standard RAL colour (not metallic) is available.
 
The paint is a 2 layer water based paint and with a total of ~110 micron (dry) it will ensure a maximised durability for many years if the windows are regular maintained in accordance with suppliers
recommendations.
 
External aluminium finish
External aluminium cladding coatings:
1) Polyester powder coating Minimum 60 micron thickness standard in any standard RAL colour available (excluding metallics). Standard Gloss 30% (optional 77% gloss upon request)
2) Anodised finish Min/max 25/35 microns in our standard colour range
Natural Silver (optional Bronze or Champagne upon request).

Thermal insulationThe thermal simulation ensures compliance to British and Scottish standards. Calculated U-values as stated for each window type on the final factory order confirmation can be requested.
 
Our low-E argon filled glass units (4-20-4) create a U-value of app. 1.70 W/m2/K (Double glazing) and 1.50 W/m2/K (Triple glazing).
Precise figures varies dependant upon glazing specification, size etc.
 
The same specimen with 6,4mm laminated glass created a U-value of 1.61 W/m2/K
